Eastern Tropical Atlantic: A broad area of low pressure, associated with a tropical wave, is located near the western Cabo Verde Islands. The low is producing limited and disorganized showers and thunderstorms while it moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.

Environmental conditions are becoming less conducive, and development of this system is no longer anticipated. However, this system will likely produce some gusty winds and locally heavy rain over the Cabo Verde Islands tonight.
